Enzo X
The Enzo X, Sequoia's latest model developed in partnership with RED Fluid Dynamics, is the ultimate hybrid board, high-performance surfing for medium and small waves. Designed with the help of CFD, the latest and most advanced technology in surfboards design, the Enzo is shaped to handle sub-chest to head high conditions with speed and maneuverability without compromising stability and easy-to-paddle characteristics. Featuring a generous volume in a short and compact template, the Enzo X is equipped with the double bat tail introduced by Daniel "Tomo" Thomson and used under his license for the first time in an hybrid board design to increase drive and maximize speed by reducing the overall drag of the board. Using CFD, the depth of the single concave has been optimized to increase the water pressure under the board and the resulting dynamic lift to compensate for the more aggressive rocker applied to fit the board in small pockets and to allow for quick transitions between short sections of small waves. An absolutely efficient hydrodynamic design allows having performance and stability/easy riding, for beginners and advanced surfers.
BOTTOM CONTOURS
A full single concave and a flat rocker for extra paddle power and an easy feeling in the rear foot.
ROCKER
The super light weight and efficient hydrodynamics of the 5050 construction allow for a performance rocker, unconventional in classic small wave surfboard models.
GLASSING SPECS
The new SUPERFAST construction puts together the brilliant performance of the Epoxy resin with a flexibility feeling very close to PU boards.
FIN SET UP
A 5 fins set-up so you can use this board as a quad in open face waves or when more hold is needed.
RAIL TYPE
Boxy rails for paddle power. The outline and rocker guarantee a perfect drive and at the same time a very good release.
WAVE TYPE
Enzo X excels on waves from knee to chest high. Also delivers in head-high conditions.
