The passion for surfboard design came early in his life - he shaped his first board at the age of 14. Later in his career Luís shared the shaping bay with legends such as Darren Handley, Bill Stewart and Pedro Battaglin. He's finished boards for elite surfers such as Jack Freestone and Adin Masencamp.

With a restless, inventive mind, Luís has created a pioneering flex technology (7-flex) and manufactured the first cork surfboard to ever be ridden at Canhão da Nazaré by Garrett McNamara.

With years of experience designing and shaping all kinds of boards - from surfboards to kite sufboards, wake surfboards, river boards, wavepool boards and stand-up paddle boards - Luís knows exactly how to shape a piece of foam to achieve the performance you're after on any type of platform and conditions.
