The Santa Força model is the result of many years of collaboration between Ricardo Martins and professional surfer Raoni Monteiro, throughout Raoni's long career on the World Tour and Qualifying Series. Hundreds of heats were surfed in a wide range of conditions all over the world.

Over the years, constant feedback from Raoni led to several refinements and updates. As judging criteria on the World Tour evolved, board design had to evolve with it. Power surfing once again became a priority, boards gained volume, and rocker lines were slightly increased (especially in the entry rocker). The challenge was to add volume without sacrificing performance.

To achieve this, Ricardo Martins increased foam under the chest, improving paddle power and earlier wave entry. This marked a major step forward for the model, while preserving its original performance DNA.

The solution was a well-balanced dome deck. Thickness is maintained along the stringer, then tapers smoothly towards the rails - a key detail for mobility, quick rail-to-rail transitions, and confident engagement. This deck design allows the board to carry more volume while keeping the rails thinner and easier to carve.

With these changes, the entry rocker was fine-tuned, adding slightly more curve up front and subtle adjustments through the rest of the board.
