The Snack model was created and developed throughout Pedro Scooby's professional career. Back then, Pedro wasn't just competing - he was also spending time filming aerial sessions and traveling. It called for a board that could meet the needs of such a versatile surfer.
Over the years, Ricardo Martins refined the model using feedback from team riders and freesurfers. Today, the Snack is the most versatile board in the RM Designs range and one of the most popular among surfers.
One of its standout features comes from the combination of three key elements: extra outline surface under the chest, a smooth entry rocker, and an entry single concave. Together, these give the board easy paddling and solid stability right from the start.
From there, Ricardo added elements to boost speed and performance. The single concave gradually transitions into a deeper double concave between the fins, giving the board extra drive and acceleration.
The smooth entry rocker gradually increases from midsection to tail, just like the outline subtly tightens toward the tail. These details give the board more mobility, shorter turns, and extra security on hard carves.
This process took years of small tweaks and fine-tuning, resulting in a compact board that combines strong paddling, stability, and high performance in a wide range of conditions, from 2 to 6 feet. Considered by many as a reliable all-around weapon for nearly any surf situation.

Tax Free Shopping in 3 steps:
1. Form Issuance: when shopping in our store, you will pay full amount (including VAT) and get a Global Blue Tax-Free Form. Fill out the form with the required information.
2. Customs Validation: at the airport, when leaving the EU, go to the nearest Customs or self- validation Kiosk and present your filled-out Tax Free Form, passport, and original purchase receipts for validation. Goods should be kept unused and available for inspection.
3. VAT Tax Refund: add your payment details online to receive the refund automatically. If you prefer, find a nearby Refund Office displaying the Global Blue star logo, present your validated Tax Free Form and passport, and receive your refund in cash. The refund paid is the VAT value deducted from Global Blue's service fee.
